Rehearsal Rooms: real arcade machines, free to play
The Rehearsal Rooms are the solo floor of MSA Arcade. Every machine listed below is a real, physical arcade cabinet in our gaming centre, streamed live and controlled by you in the browser. Pick the kind of machine you want to practise on and we put you straight onto a free cabinet in that category; if it is taken, one tap moves you to the next one.
A rehearsal is free: no coins to enter, no lives to spend, no limit on how long you play. Each round adds studio coins to your studio, +5 or +10 with a catch, up to a daily limit. Arcade coins come mainly from free 1v1s, which start from the Play button in your studio, and unlock avatars at 100 each. New here? The How to Play guide walks through every machine type in detail.
The machines you can play
Every machine is built on the same claw cabinet. What changes from one category to the next is the claw, the prizes or the playfield, and that is what sets each one's knack and its difficulty. Pick a category and the arcade hands you the emptiest machine it has.
The categories below are examples of what you can play. Once you start playing, this page shows which claws are live right now.
Big Claw
The classic claw game with the original big claw: line up over the prize, drop, and lift it clear.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Use the arrows to line the claw up, then press GRAB to drop and lift.
12 cabinets in this category.
Cabinets: All Star, Atlantic Treasures, Catch a Green, Catch Yellow, Cyber Escape, Dao Discussion, Imperial Gardens, Pink Delight, Psy Rings, Smelly Swamp, Snowy Mountains, Starry LightHouse.
Mini Claw
The classic claw game with a smaller claw. Same cabinet and same drop-and-lift as the rest, but the smaller claw changes how it grips and how hard the grab is.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Use the arrows to line the claw up, then press GRAB to drop and lift.
The snappy "bite" claw from Snap Claw, playing for small balls. It is the easiest game on the floor and the best place to start.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Use the arrows to line the claw up, then press GRAB to drop and lift.
2 cabinets in this category.
Cabinets: Carmin Forest, Steam Zeppelin.
Pachinko
Real pachinko, claw-operated: the claw picks up a ball and carries it along the top of the pin board. Release it and it rattles down toward the prize slot.
Controls: Horizontal movement only. Position and press GRAB to release.
2 cabinets in this category.
Cabinets: Pachinko 01, Pachinko 02.
Bingo
Connect Four with a claw, despite the name: sunk balls light holes on a shared, persistent 4×4 grid, and the first player to line up four wins before the grid resets.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Move the claw, press GRAB. Lit holes persist between rounds, so plan ahead.

Cabinets: Bingo 01.
Rebound
Grab a ball with the claw, then drop it so it bounces off the platform into the scoring hole. Read the angles before you release.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Move the claw with arrows, grab a ball, aim for the scoring hole.
1 cabinet in this category.
Wobble Drop
The claw drops your ball onto a wobbling, tilting plate with four holes, and only one of them wins. Time the release as the plate moves.
Controls & cabinets
Controls: Step 1: GRAB to start. Step 2: use arrows to position. Watch the hole pattern.

Cabinets: Random Hole 1.
How a rehearsal works
Choose a category and press Rehearse. The server picks a cabinet for you, a free one where it can and the quietest one where it cannot, and drops you into the room with the live camera feed and the controls. If somebody is already playing that machine you can wait your turn in the queue or switch to another cabinet in the same category without losing your place on the page.
Nothing is deducted when you play. Your rehearsals still count toward your weekly goals. When you want something on the line, a free 1v1 from the Play button in your studio puts you on the same real cabinets, and that is where arcade coins are won.

Does a rehearsal use coins?
No. Rehearsals are free on every machine, every time, and they add studio coins to your studio, up to a daily limit. Arcade coins come mainly from 1v1s and from weekly goals, and they unlock avatars at 100 each. You never need coins to play.
Are the machines really real?
Yes. Every category runs on physical arcade hardware in our gaming centre. Your inputs drive the actual machine and a live camera shows it responding in real time.
Can I win real money?
No, and that's deliberate. Coins, tickets and prizes are virtual, can't be cashed out, and playing is free. MSA Arcade is not gambling. Details in our Terms of Use.
